Not as great as we hoped, 2008-07-04
We were looking for a litter that was more earth, people, and cat friendly all around. We spotted this stuff at our local PetSmart, and I liked everything about it, especially being flushable AND controlling odors. Sounded too good to be true. It was... Despite scooping as the bag instructed, and being a single cat household, this litter has zero odor control. We even had a strong odor absorbing gel crystal jar and a method wall socket air freshener in the laundry room where the litter box is kept. Nevertheless, the odor managed to waft out into the hallway, living room, guest bathroom, etc. We also used nature's miracle powdered enzyme sprinkled into the litter. Nothing worked. The tracking wasn't so bad, but we use a big mat to catch a lot of it, and stepping on the bits that weren't caught was far less annoying than sharp crystals. No matter, the odor was still unbearable. It might be the world's earth friendliest, but in this house, it's just not the world's best. Shame.

LIVES UP TO IT'S NAME, WORLD'S BEST CAT LITTER!, 2008-06-26
I'm impressed with this product. I can tell you that it isn't called WORLD'S BEST CAT LITTER for nothing.
Yes, at first, the cats will eat it.....but once they use it, believe me, the don't eat it anymore.
It clumps wonderfully, and is totally flushable. I have 5 cats, and 3 Litter boxes, and they do not have to get changed for at least 2 and one half months. Each week, I will add alittle fresh litter to their boxes.
The first time I used this litter, I used it in ONE litter box only, and it lasted longer than I expected. There is no dust all over my furniture or in the air like with other cat litter, and the fact that it is safe to flush is a bonus!!! When I replace the litter,(after about 2 and a half months) I wash out the litter boxes with soap and water and start fresh. Great stuff and definitely worth the money. Also, being that I have dust allergies, those have been reduced now that I don't use a dusty cat litter.
I highly recommend the World's Best Cat Litter. Extra Strength if you have more than one cat!!!!

World's Best? Best I've Found For Sure!, 2008-06-06
Started exploring because of the terrible amount of dust that standard clay litter was creating. My local pet care place recommended it. It's just awesome! I'm no longer seeing any dust issues at all. I live in a 500 sq ft apartment with two cats and odor is no issue. I recommended it to a friend who has since experienced the same results. For what its worth, I talked to the owner of the pet store today. He uses it at home and prefers the standard World's best over the extra odor control type.

Way too expensive, and for what??, 2008-05-27
I believed the hype, watched the video and read the website thoroughly before I invested $70 in this product (three medium bags at $19 each and one small bag for $8). What a waste. For that amount of money you would think there would be SOME odor control, but there is none. This stuff is the worst - stay away from it and don't waste your money! Our whole house smells weirdly musty (like an old person's house, one guest said) and it also smells like one of the cats has freshly crapped on the floor right in front of you. I'll go back to my Tidy Cat for $4 a bag, it never gave me any problems at all - I was just tempted to try something new. That won't happen again.

Yeah, it's smelly, but it's good for your cat and the enviornment..., 2008-05-25
First, let me state that I don't smell any difference between this standard variety of World's Best litter and the "extra strength" one. They add some kind of plant protein to the "extra strength" one, but both litters are very lacking in odor control. Either that, or my cat takes extremely smelly poops.
However, if you don't mind the lack of odor control, this litter is great. It's just ground up corn. You can probably eat it if you had to, with GREAT DEPRESSION 2 coming (joking). But really, corn litter is better for the environment than strip mining it for clay litter. Since it's just corn, it's completely safe and healthy for your cat as well.
Sometimes the urine clumps break apart. My cat loves to dig into this litter and kick it all over the place and it's annoying to sweep up off the floor. And yeah, it tracks. I see little yellow paw prints on the carpet sometimes.
But I care about my cat's health and that's why I use this litter. Plus, he seems to like it. Though, to be fair, any litter I've tried with him in the past he's used without being fussy.
